No programming, no rewiring, no new powertrain parts. Same connector and same footprint - the battery is just taller (about 3 inches).

The Grunt motor and controller are compatible as-is. The battery works with the Grunt EVO, standard and Hunter's Edition.

Your purchase includes both a battery AND charger.

The original 60V charger will not charge this 72V battery. 

 

Founder's Edition (FE):

This 72V battery will not work with the Founder's Edition Grunt without a minor low-voltage electronics upgrade. Please contact support if you have a FE and are interested in upgrading your battery.
