WITH 4 SELECTABLE RIDE MODES, YOU HAVE THE FREEDOM TO RIDE WHERE AND HOW YOU WANT.

MODE 1

Minimal pedal assistance and maximum battery life for navigating busy streets and crowded park trails. With this mode the rider receives minimal assistance from the motor to make pedaling a little easier but the throttle will not engage. This gives the rider a little extra boost with the least drain on the battery.

MODE 2

Light power and acceleration that is ideal for cruising the urban landscape. In mode 2 the throttle is activated giving the rider smooth power delivery making it easier to zip through traffic or get over that hill.

MODE 3

Provides increased power delivery with medium acceleration with a top speed of 20mph. Just a twist of the throttle will get you where you want to go and with higher torque to get you there quicker. Off-road mode available***

"Bike is preforms as advertised. You will max out at about 30 to 32. Feels sturdy and operates great. App is a bit wonky but works unlike people say. Biggest issues are the seat is super uncomfortable and but it's annoying because they acknowledge this by selling a 75 dollar seat upgrade. So they know it is uncomfortable but only let you fix it buy purchasing an new seat. Why not just make the comfortable seat standard? Additionally, my bike came with two small dents on the sides of the faux gas can. The problem is in two reviews I watched they had the same dents in thier bikes so it's not just a one time issue but rather a packaging and storage issue. Hopefully Volcon will replace them for me given the price of this bike. Overall I love the bike despite its minor issues. Hopefully volcon will release V2 upgrades to improve battery and performance."

Terrible company

"After placing my order. I waited two weeks and had not heard anything regarding the delivery of my bike. I reached out to a customer service rep via email to cancel the order. All of a sudden I was provided a tracking number. Upon delivery of my bike by FedEx freight I observed the box to be torn in half. The FedEx freight driver stated, “it looks damaged I would refuse it if I were you” I looked closely at the bike (Through the torn portion on the box) and noticed multiple scratches on the frame of the bike. I immediately refused to accept the bike as I paid nearly $1,600 for a bike, and would like for it to not have any damage to it. The FedEx driver literally carried the bike back to his truck which was ten feet away. I reached out to Brat regarding the damage to the bike and was told I the consumer should file a claim with FedEx and that there was no returns, I was also provided three options. Option one accept a new chain guard (which was not even the damaged piece), Option 2 accept $50, or Option 3 refuse the bike and not get a refund. This company is bad! A good company would acknowledge that it’s not the consumers fault that the bike arrived damaged and would either replace the bike or refund them their money. STAY AWAY from this company!"

"The bike was locked at 17 miles on mode four cant unlock the off road mode because the app doesn't work anymore the bikes speedometer is not accurate it's charge does not last if the battery gets below 30 it just stops working"

Not a bad bike. Great look and very cool.

"This is a cool bike that looks amazing and performs great. The seat is a little uncomfortable and the ergonomics of the handles is also not as comfy as my arms fall asleep real quick when riding it. This is a really neat bike. The bad news was that it came with a giant hole in the box when it arrived and had a couple scratches on it, but it wasn't enough to really be bothered by."

Front brake problem, seat is too narrow

"Bike looks good. Assembly was easy. Front brakes did not work. Customer service suggested I bleed the brakes. I did that and it worked for 1 day then the brake lever was low again. The front caliper is wet and must be leaking. I’m waiting for a warranty replacement. Seat looks nice but it is too narrow."

How will it handle steeper rough country for hunting. My property has steeper grades. I’ve tried the quiet cat and Rambo and they just wouldn’t pull the grade without lots of peddle assistance.

Where is this made?
The Brat is designed in Round Rock, TX and we have partners overseas that help assemble it.
When exactly will you be coming to Canada? Can I recommend bike shops to become dealers? I’m really eager to get my hands on a Volcon Brat!!!!!

What is the warranty on my Brat?

Volcon offers a one-year, limited warranty covering factory defects from workmanship and material issues on the Brat. The Brat battery has a two-year warranty. All sales are final.
What maintenance is needed on the Brat?

There is very little maintenance needed on the Brat, just charge and maintain the battery level*. Tire pressure should be checked often and set up to 20PSI. The chain should be cleaned and lubed regularly especially after wading through water. Brakes and tire tread should be regularly checked. Otherwise, no maintenance is needed.

* Check the battery level every 2 months when not in use or being stored.
What should I know about the wheels and tires on the Brat?

The tires on your Brat were designed especially for these vehicles. The size is 20 inches by 4.0 inches. They are low rolling resistance tires suitable for mixed terrain use and can be purchased at any Volcon dealership.Tire pressure should be checked often and set up to 20PSI.

What is the battery life on the Brat?

The Brat battery will maintain 60% or higher capacity for at least 500 charge cycles.

The maximum range of a full charge depends on many variables such as: battery age, terrain and incline, rider weight, speed, outside temperature, ride mode, pedaling, or tire pressure. We recommend charging the battery between 65 F - 75 F, maintaining proper tire pressure and lubricating the chain to maximize range. Please refer to our document on battery range for more info.
How long does the Brat take to charge?

The Brat is powered by a 48V battery that can be fully charged in 6-7 hours via Level 1 charging through a standard household outlet.
Do I need to make any electrical outlet changes at my residence in order to charge the Brat battery?

No, a standard household electric outlet is sufficient.
How many amps does the charge draw on the Brat?

The charger draws 3 amps.
What if I need storage while enjoying my ride on the Brat?

We have you covered. The Brat’s integrated locking storage is built for items like a phone, gloves or hat. It includes a USB charger so you don’t have to worry that your phone’s battery is running low while using it on your ride.
Can the Brat motor overheat?

The Brat features an internal motor temperature limit higher than a rider can likely take it. It will protect itself, though, and shut off before that limit is hit.

How far can I ride my Brat on a single charge?

The Brat has approximately 70+ miles of riding on a single charge in Mode 1 (pedal assist) and approximate range is 30+ miles in Modes 2-4 (throttle assist).
Can the Brat be ridden both on-road and off-road?

Your Volcon Brat is designed to be used on paved paths and light off-road trails. Therefore, you should never ride over stairs, perform wheelies, take it off jumps or do stunt/trick-like activities.
What should I know about the wheels and tires on the Brat?

The Brat is IP54 rated and is water resistant but cannot wade through excessive water or snow. Wading through water forcibly when the water level exceeds 4 inches in depth may cause electrical components to short circuit.
What is the Brat’s weight limit?

The maximum weight for passenger and cargo combined is 308 pounds.
Will I be able to power additional electronics using the Brat?

Yes, the Brat features a USB Type A port.
